The post lauream programmes offer in Italian Universities is discussed, with specific reference to the experience of the Centre of Permanent Education of Genoa University – PerForm. Remarks and considerations are presented about story and activities of this Centre. First of all the main drivers of the role of Universities in delivering post lauream programmes are considered. Secondly business model and management practices developed by PerForm are focused. Thirdly delivering post lauream programmes by the University is considered as a cognitive process, that both uses and produces intangibles resources. So Intellectual Capital, management practices, organizational culture usefull for delivering successful post lauream programmes are discussed.
