A new family of the noble metal-actinide intermetallics was investigated. The electrical resistivity and magnetic susceptibility measurements on some pseudobinary phases in the U14Au51Th14Au51 system are reported. The effects of the observed competition between strong antiferromagnetic coupling and itinerant. Kondo-like 5f states are discussed.
