Abstract

Within the International Comparative Self-Report Delinquency Study an autonomous research has been carried out to compare two different methods of data collection in the field of juvenile delinquency: self-administered questionnaire vs. face-to-face interview. The data point out that both methods give similar results about the number of juveniles who admit their illegal behavior; neverless students show a slight trend to self-report deviant behaviour in face-to-face interview more than in self-administered questionnaires.
