LITIAS. Lo italiano en territorios hispanófonos.

The LITIAS project (PRIN protocol 2017J7H322) is now in its final phase of development. Its most ambitious goal was (and still is) the creation of a textual corpus that will allow in the future the interpretation and evaluation of the influence of Italian language and culture in Spanishspeaking countries, especially in Latin America. The project aims to achieve this objective by locating and cataloguing works published in these countries, specifically published in these countries: didactic texts (grammars of Italian as LE and bilingual Italian-Spanish dictionaries) and non-literary translations of Italian originals. The main purpose of this article is to describe the project already in its conclusive phase and to report on its many achievements.
