Abstract

The medieval historic center of Genoa is the largest in Europe. The small villages of Liguria are served by winding roads, squeezed between the mountains and the sea. We are experiencing a season of health emergency, where collective mobility is struggling to respect the rules of social distancing. In accordance with these assumptions, 11 groups of Event Product Design stu- dents have devised as many possible vehicle variants capable of meeting these requirements. They are small electric vehicles that could ensure a useful mobility service within the ‘caruggi’ alleys, moving gracefully and safely even in pedestrian areas.
