Abstract The objective of MADE IN GOA the City as a Hybrid Infrastructure, is the study of the relationship between the construction of the city of Genoa and the development of its infrastructural system. The thesis of this work is that it is possible to identify, in the modern history of the city, a series of parallels between urban growth, development and implementation of the concept of infrastructure. Genoa represents a paradigmatic case in which works of territory infrastructure and architectural artifacts, designed at the human scale, are continually exchanging their role, eliminating in certain situations the difference between the two systems. The research foresees a monitoring of the places and remarkable elements of the Genoese infrastructural network and a capillary tracing of the systems that they generate, to constitute a procedure useful for identifying areas that could be the subject of future interventions. It is therefore a question of defining a geography of possible opportunities for rationalization and / or densification that highlights and underlines the passages of infrastructure or connective tissue aggregated to them in possession of improved margins.
